About Alyssia

Alyssia is a London-based qualified pre and post-natal personal trainer, certified life coach, and mother of two.

Alyssia has always been passionate about fitness since a young age when she played lacrosse and netball for Middlesex county and enjoyed cross country. She studied Economics and French at Nottingham University, achieving a First Class Degree, and then spent 5 years working hard in the corporate world in operations and customer experience roles.

In 2017 Alyssia felt overwhelmed in her job, stressed and unhappy but struggled to figure out next steps. She was essentially functioning; not living with purpose or zest for life. Life coaching and personal training were two key factors which enabled her to get out of a rut, break free from her limiting beliefs and start to live the life that she had always dreamed of but didn’t know where to begin.

She left her job to pursue her passion for fitness by training to become a personal trainer and then subsequently did a life coaching qualification as she wanted to help people start to live a more fulfilling life like she now was and fitness clients were reporting back that Alyssia was helping them not only with their fitness goals but also with other areas of personal growth; something Alyssia greatly enjoyed. Alyssia wanted to provide a holistic offering to clients empowering clients to achieve their fitness and wider lifestyle goals and be the best version of themselves.

Alyssia has been a personal trainer for 6 years and a life coach for 3 years. In particular, she finds great satisfaction in training pregnant women throughout their pregnancies and helping them safely return to exercise post birth. This period of significant life changes can be overwhelming and so life coaching to maintain alignment with who you want to be and overcome challenges is something Alyssia has herself experienced and helps clients achieve.

She has two young children and training throughout pregnancy and after the birth kept her strong both physically and mentally. Furthermore, Alyssia has always been a great believer in the power of the mindset and how re-writing your narrative and changing your thoughts really can change your life and help you overcome obstacles and achieve your goals. Life coaching provides accountability to ensure actions are stuck to and momentum is maintained.

She has combined her passion for fitness and life coaching with her experience in business and motherhood to put together a simple one-stop shop where everything is ready at the fingertips of the individual. Mind body packages include weekly personal training sessions and fortnightly life coaching calls.

Alyssia’s life coaching areas of expertise include health and fitness career, balance and pre and post natal period challenges.

Alyssia’s personal training style includes simple and effective low impact functional exercise. Strength training is a key component of the workouts as maintaining women’s bones and strength is vital for longevity.

In terms of life coaching, Alyssia enjoys using the GROW model where goals are identified, obstacles identified and practical and mindset tools provided to help facilitate change. Clients take confident and consistent actions to achieve goals.

Whether it’s via personal training, life coaching, or a combination of both, Alyssia hopes to empower women to start living with purpose and joy and feel strong mentally and physically.
